Making a Perfectly Smooth and Tender Steamed Egg 🙂
This steamed egg is much softer and more delicate than the ones I’ve made before, making it incredibly delicious♥
Ingredients
- 20ml water
- 30ml milk
- 2 raw eggs
- A pinch of salt

First, prepare all the ingredients for the recipe. Letting the eggs come to room temperature can help them mix better. 🙂

Crack the 2 eggs into a bowl. Whisk them thoroughly until the yolks and whites are well combined and the mixture turns a pale yellow. This step is key to achieving a smooth texture.

Now, add 20ml of water to the egg mixture and gently stir again. Water helps to make the steamed egg even more delicate. ♥ Whisk until just combined.

A word of caution! If you use a small dish like I did, the steamed egg can puff up significantly and overflow when heated. Therefore, it’s highly recommended to use a larger bowl or only fill the dish halfway to prevent a mess. This ensures a safe and clean cooking process!
