Ingredients
  • Fresh spinach 70g (washed and prepared)
  • Bacon 60g (leaner cuts recommended)
  • Minced garlic 5g (finely minced for baby)
  • Cooking oil 1 Tbsp
  • Toasted sesame seeds 0.5 Tbsp

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, carefully check and prepare all the ingredients listed for the recipe. Thoroughly wash the spinach under running water to remove any dirt or impurities. Then, chop the spinach into bite-sized pieces that are easy for your baby to eat.

Step 2

Pat the bacon dry with paper towels. To reduce excess grease and achieve a softer texture, briefly blanch the bacon in boiling water for about 30 seconds.

Step 3

Once blanched, cut the bacon into small, manageable pieces, about 1-2 cm in size. This makes them easier to stir-fry and for your baby to consume.

Step 4

Now, heat a frying pan over medium-low heat. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and let it spread evenly across the pan.

Step 5

Once the pan is moderately hot, add the 5g of minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds, being careful not to burn it, to release its fragrant aroma.

Step 6

When the garlic starts to turn slightly golden, add the cut bacon pieces. Stir-fry them together. The bacon will render its fat, adding delicious flavor to the dish.

Step 7

Once the bacon is partially cooked, add the prepared spinach to the pan. Stir-fry them together. Spinach wilts quickly, so it’s important not to overcook it. Sauté just until the spinach is tender, which should only take about 1-2 minutes. Just before turning off the heat, sprinkle in 0.5 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds for a finishing touch. Your delicious spinach and bacon stir-fry is now ready!
