  • 0.5 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp chopped green chili (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp chopped green onion
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 0.5 tsp honey or corn syrup
  • 1-2 Tbsp water
  • 0.5-1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • A pinch of toasted sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

In a wide pot, place the pack of soft tofu. Add enough water to cover the tofu. Gently heat over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to break the tofu as it warms up, ensuring it becomes tender and heated through.

Step 2

While the tofu is warming, let’s prepare the delicious soy sauce dressing! In a small bowl, add a pinch of toasted sesame seeds. Then, mix in 0.5 tsp gochugaru, 0.5-1 Tbsp sesame oil, 1-2 Tbsp water, 3 Tbsp soy sauce, and 0.5 tsp honey (or corn syrup). For a touch of heat, add 1 Tbsp chopped green chili (if desired), 1 Tbsp chopped green onion, and 0.5 tsp minced garlic. Stir everything together until well combined to create a flavorful dressing.
