The Healthiness of Fresh Live Abalone! A Delicious Abalone Fried Rice Cooked with Abalone Meat and Liver!
Fresh live abalone is a healthy food that is great for your body, isn’t it? Abalone is rich in taurine, which is good for restoring energy and is said to purify the blood. Moreover, it’s good for dieting and is said to help remove waste products from the body. Today, I made fried rice that can be made with fresh abalone liver. This abalone fried rice, carefully prepared with clean abalone and its liver, is incredibly delicious! ^^
Ingredients
- Abalone meat from 2 abalones, cleaned
- Abalone liver from 2 abalones, cleaned
- 6 cloves garlic
- 4 stalks garlic chives
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 serving cooked rice
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp butter
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the abalone meat and liver separately from 2 cleaned live abalones. Dice the abalone meat into bite-sized pieces and finely chop the abalone liver.
Step 2
Get your garlic and garlic chives ready. Thinly slice the garlic cloves and cut the garlic chives into bite-sized pieces. Since we’re adding abalone liver to this fried rice, using plenty of garlic will help eliminate any fishy smell and add a wonderful aroma, making it delicious.
Step 3
Let’s start by stir-frying the minced abalone liver. Heat a pan with a little oil over low heat. Add the minced garlic and then the minced abalone liver. Stir constantly over low heat until evenly cooked.
Step 4
After stir-frying the abalone liver, add the sliced garlic and garlic chives. Mix them well and continue to stir-fry together.
Step 5
Once the garlic and garlic chives are slightly cooked, add the cooked rice to the pan. Stir-fry everything together, ensuring the rice is well combined with the other ingredients.
Step 6
Push the fried rice to one side of the pan. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce to the empty space and let it simmer briefly. Then, mix it with the rice and stir-fry. Again, move the rice to one side of the pan. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the empty space and let it melt. Finally, mix the melted butter with the rice and stir-fry to finish.
Step 7
Here is the delicious abalone fried rice, made with fresh live abalone liver and diced abalone meat! I used a mix of black and brown rice, which gave it a richer color. The fresh live abalone liver wasn’t fishy at all; instead, it was wonderfully savory. The generous amount of garlic, added to prevent any fishiness, made it even more aromatic and delicious. Abalone is a nutritious and delicious ingredient that’s great for your health! How about a bowl of this savory abalone fried rice today?
