Palmier-style Cookies with Mom’s Hand Pie & Chocolate
Easy Recipe for Palmiers using Mom’s Hand Pie and Chocolate: A Delightful Homemade Dessert
Experience the delightful layered, crispy texture of ‘Mom’s Hand Pie’ enhanced with a sweet chocolate coating, creating a delicious ‘Palmier-style’ treat! This recipe uses two common snacks to make a wonderful home cafe dessert. Perfect for kids’ snacks or special occasions.
Essential Ingredients
- 1 bag Mom’s Hand Pie cookies
- 100g Ghana Chocolate (or your preferred milk chocolate)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, break the chocolate into small pieces and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. This helps the chocolate melt faster and more evenly.
Step 2
Microwave on high for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. It’s a good idea to take it out once midway to stir the chocolate, ensuring it melts smoothly without clumping. (Be careful not to overheat, as it can burn.)
Step 3
Dip about half of each Mom’s Hand Pie cookie into the melted chocolate and lift it out. Coating only half makes them easier to eat later and much more visually appealing.
Step 4
Arrange the chocolate-coated Mom’s Hand Pie cookies neatly on parchment paper. Wait for the chocolate to set slightly, and your delicious Palmiers are ready! You can also decorate with sprinkles if you like.
