Time flies, doesn’t it? There are only a couple of days left in the year. When I look back at the dishes I’ve made throughout the year, time seems to race by, and sometimes I wish I could pause it. Watching my children grow makes me feel that way, and I sometimes think how nice it would be if they stayed young forever, but I also don’t age! Haha. My sincere wish is that they continue to live healthy, passionate lives, pursuing their dreams and living ordinary, happy lives.

With the kids now on winter break, my hands have been busier than ever, often preparing snacks for them before they head to their academies. Taking frozen corn from the freezer, boiling it, grilling it, and then sprinkling it with cheese powder creates a wonderful and delicious snack. It’s a dish my kids absolutely adore!

Ingredients
  • 2 Boiled Corns
  • Cheese powder (to taste)
  • Pinch of salt

First, cut the corn into three manageable pieces. This makes them easier for children to hold and eat, and ensures they cook more evenly when grilled.

We’ll be using corn that was harvested this year and immediately frozen. Place the corn in a pot with plenty of water and a pinch of salt, then boil until tender. Boiling for about 15-20 minutes will bring out the corn’s natural sweetness beautifully.

Step 3

After draining the boiled corn, place it in a preheated frying pan and grill until golden brown and slightly charred. Cooking over medium heat, turning occasionally, will make the kernels plump and enhance their flavor.

Step 4

Once the corn is nicely grilled and looks appetizing, it’s time for the final touch! Sprinkle your preferred amount of cheese powder generously over the warm corn.
