  • 20-30g of crisp cabbage
  • 1 leek
  • 3 strips of bacon
  • 1-2 handfuls of fresh bean sprouts
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic

  • 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, blanch the udon noodles in boiling water for about 1 minute. Be careful not to overcook them, as they can become mushy when stir-fried. Chop the cabbage into thick shreds, and slice the leek diagonally. Cut the bacon into bite-sized squares. Prepping the ingredients like this makes cooking much smoother.

Step 2

Wash the bean sprouts thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris. Gently drain any excess water; this will help prevent the dish from becoming too watery when stir-fried.

Now, let’s stir-fry! Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic first and sauté until fragrant to create garlic-infused oil.
