Step 1

Today, I’ll show you how to make amazing boiled pork belly (Suyuk Bossam) using an air fryer. It’s incredibly crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender and juicy on the inside. It’s a recipe that anyone can easily follow.

Step 2

Let’s prepare the whole pork belly. First, you can score the skin of the pork belly with shallow cuts to enhance the crispiness when cooked. If you prefer not to score it, that’s perfectly fine too. Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper, place the whole pork belly on top, and generously season the entire surface with herb salt. The herb salt not only removes any gamey odor but also adds a fantastic flavor.

Step 3

Now, let’s get cooking with the air fryer! Place the seasoned pork belly into a preheated air fryer set to 180°C (350°F) and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, carefully remove the pork belly, flip it over, and then cook for another 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F). This process will turn the surface golden brown and delightfully crispy while keeping the inside moist and full of juices.
