Bibimbap Ingredients
  • 3-4 leaves of napa cabbage
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/4 block of firm tofu
  • 1 bowl of brown rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1-2 Tbsp perilla powder (deulkkae garu)
  • 1 Tbsp shredded seasoned seaweed (gimjaban)

Napa Cabbage Wraps Ingredients
  • 3-4 leaves of napa cabbage
  • Tofu, as needed
  • Cucumber, as needed
  • Garlic, as needed
  • Ham, as needed
  • Doenjang (Korean soybean paste), as needed

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

[Bibimbap] Start by washing 3-4 fresh napa cabbage leaves thoroughly under running water. Chop the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

Step 2

[Bibimbap] Wash the cucumber, remove the seeds, and julienne it finely. Cut the 1/4 block of tofu into small cubes or matchsticks.

Step 3

[Bibimbap] In a large bowl, artfully arrange the prepared napa cabbage, cucumber, and tofu. Add a bowl of warm brown rice. Fry 2 eggs to your preference (sunny-side up or over-easy) and place them on top. Finally, add 1 tablespoon of gochujang, 1 tablespoon of fragrant sesame oil, 1-2 tablespoons of nutritious perilla powder, and 1 tablespoon of crispy gimjaban. Mix everything together well and enjoy!

Step 4

[Napa Cabbage Wraps] Wash 3-4 napa cabbage leaves clean. If the leaves are too large, cut them in half to make them easier to wrap.

Step 5

[Napa Cabbage Wraps] Prepare the fillings for your wraps. You can pan-fry the tofu until golden brown or mash it. Julienne the cucumber. Slice the garlic thinly or mince it. Slice the ham and lightly sauté it for enhanced flavor. Have doenjang ready to be used as a dipping sauce.
