Buttery Soy-Braised Beef Fried Rice
How to Make Buttery Soy-Braised Beef Fried Rice
Let’s make fried rice with soy-braised beef and butter.
Ingredients
- 1 bowl of rice
- 12.5g butter
- 51g soy-braised beef (like Jinjorim)
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp soy-braised beef liquid
- A pinch of parsley flakes
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare your ingredients for a delicious fried rice. You’ll need about one piece of butter. For the soy-braised beef (Jinjorim), shred or finely chop it into bite-sized pieces for easier eating. It’s best to use warm rice, as it won’t clump together as much when stir-frying.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a heated pan over medium-low heat. Once the butter is melted and fragrant, add the prepared soy-braised beef and stir-fry it gently until its aroma is released. This step helps the rich flavor of the beef meld with the butter. Next, add the warm rice to the pan. Use a spatula to break up the rice grains and stir-fry quickly, ensuring each grain is coated with the butter and beef flavor. Finally, add 2 tablespoons of the soy-braised beef liquid. This adds seasoning and moisture to the fried rice. Continue to stir-fry until the rice grains are fluffy and separate.
Step 3
In the same pan (or a separate one), lightly oil one side of the pan and spread it evenly with a paper towel. This prevents the eggs from sticking. Crack the 2 eggs into a bowl, whisk them together to create an egg mixture. Pour the whisked eggs into the oiled side of the pan. Stir continuously with chopsticks or a spatula to create soft scrambled eggs. Be careful not to overcook them; they should remain moist.
Step 4
Now, plate the buttery soy-braised beef fried rice. Arrange the fluffy scrambled eggs around the fried rice to create a visually appealing presentation. For a final touch, sprinkle a pinch of parsley flakes over the top, if desired. Enjoy your wonderfully flavorful and savory meal!
