Sandwich Ingredients- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 small onion, finely minced
- 1/2 apple, cored and finely diced
- 1 tomato, deseeded and diced
- 1/4 bell pepper (any color), deseeded and finely minced
- 1 pinch of salt, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons honey
- A pinch of black pepper, freshly ground is best
- 1 ciabatta bread
- 1-2 slices of your favorite cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
- 1/2 bunch of baby greens (e.g., arugula, spinach)
- 2 strips of bacon
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare all your sandwich components. Slice the ciabatta bread in half horizontally. Thinly slice one tomato and wash and drain the baby greens. Have your guacamole ready and set aside.

Generously spread 2 tablespoons of whole grain mustard onto the cut sides of the ciabatta bread. Preheat your air fryer to 120°C (250°F). Place the mustard-spread ciabatta halves into the air fryer and toast for about 6 minutes until warmed through and slightly crisp. During this time, you can also add the 2 strips of bacon to the air fryer to cook them until crisp or gently warm them.
Step 3
