Main Ingredients

  • 2 cans (200g each) Spam
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Lightly rinse the Spam cans under running water. If the Spam can has a yellow plastic lid, it can be helpful for slicing. Remove the lid and place the Spam on it. If you don’t have the lid, place chopsticks on both ends of the Spam to act as guides. Slice the Spam into even thickness. Aim for a thickness that is neither too thin nor too thick.

Step 1

Step 2

Peel the plastic from the cheddar cheese slices and cut each slice into 4 equal pieces.

Step 2

Step 3

Carefully spread open the cuts you made in the Spam slices. Gently insert a piece of cheddar cheese into each gap.

Step 3

Step 4

Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place the Spam with the cheese inserted into the air fryer. Cook at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 4

Step 5

During cooking, open the air fryer occasionally to check on the Spam and ensure it’s cooking evenly. When the timer beeps after 10 minutes, your delicious Whole Spam Roast is ready! Take it out and enjoy this perfectly golden-brown and appetizing dish while it’s warm.
