Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, let’s prepare these lovely, perfectly sized strawberries. They’re not too big, not too small, and will add a beautiful visual appeal to your dishes.

Step 2

To wash your strawberries, you can use water with a little vinegar, baking soda, or even salt water. Salt water is especially recommended as it enhances the natural sweetness of the strawberries and also has a sanitizing effect. Avoid soaking the strawberries in water for more than 30 seconds, as this can cause Vitamin C to leach out. Instead, quickly rinse them without removing the stems and then gently pat them dry.

Step 3

While snapping a few photos, I also made sure to wash the strawberries. I opted for a quick rinse in water with a touch of vinegar.

Step 4

After washing, remove the stems from the strawberries and cut them in half. Slice the Jamón Serrano in half as well, to match the size of the strawberries. Slice the ciabatta bread into approximately 1.5cm thick pieces.

Step 5

Now, let’s assemble the finger food! Spread a generous layer of Greek yogurt onto a slice of ciabatta bread. Top it with a slice of Jamón Serrano, followed by fresh sprouts, and finally, arrange the halved strawberries beautifully on top. Your elegant finger food is ready!

Step 6

Next, we’ll prepare the refreshing strawberry salad. Start by creating a bed of fresh sprouts in the center of your plate. Dollop a generous amount of Greek yogurt on top of the sprouts. Sprinkle some crunchy granola over the yogurt for added texture, and then artfully arrange the halved strawberries around the edges of the plate.

Step 7

These finger foods with jamón and strawberries, alongside the vibrant strawberry salad, are visually stunning and make for an outstanding home party appetizer or a delightful brunch option. They truly deserve a ‘thumbs up’!

Step 8

The strawberry salad is wonderfully tangy and fresh, pairing exceptionally well with the creamy Greek yogurt. I could have easily eaten another plate, even after finishing the first one!

Step 9

How about these charming finger foods? They are as pretty as they are delicious. I enjoyed mine as a delightful brunch with a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Step 10

Imagine scooping up a forkful of Greek yogurt, fresh sprouts, and sweet strawberries together! It’s such a pleasure to be able to enjoy fresh strawberries like these during the cold winter months.
