Pudding Ingredients
- 100ml Chilled Latte
- 1 Fresh Egg
- 2 Tbsp Sugar (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by cracking 1 fresh egg into a clean bowl. You don’t need to separate the yolk and white; just use the whole egg.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the egg in the bowl. You can adjust the amount of sugar based on your preferred sweetness level.
Step 3
Pour in 100ml of chilled latte. You can use a store-bought latte drink or make your own by mixing espresso with milk. Using it cold will help the pudding set better.

Gently whisk together the egg, sugar, and latte until well combined and there are no lumps. Try not to whisk too vigorously to avoid creating too much foam. Mix until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
Step 5
Pour the pudding mixture into a microwave-safe mug or ramekin. Fill it only about two-thirds full, as the pudding will puff up slightly when cooked.
Step 6
Place the mug or ramekin in the microwave and cook for 1 minute and 20 seconds. Microwave wattages vary, so you may need to adjust the cooking time slightly. The surface should look lightly set.
Step 7
Once removed from the microwave, let the pudding sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes. The residual heat will gently finish cooking it, resulting in a smoother, more tender texture. It should have a slight wobble when gently shaken.
Step 8
Your delicious latte pudding is ready! It’s wonderful served warm, or you can chill it for a firmer texture. For an extra special treat, garnish with whipped cream or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
