Main Ingredients

  • 2 Hamburger buns
  • 1 can (approx. 40g) Jangjorim (braised beef or pork, canned)
  • 2 slices Ham
  • 2 slices Cheese
  • 1/4 fresh Tomato
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 2 leaves Iceberg lettuce
  • 2 Eggs

Special Sauce Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Whole grain mustard
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped pickles

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Carefully take the Jangjorim from the can and gently shred it with a fork, following the grain of the meat. Avoid shredding it too finely, as this can diminish the texture. Prepare it in moderately sized pieces.

Thinly slice the fresh tomato into rounds about 0.5cm thick. Also, thinly slice the onion. If you find raw onion too pungent, you can soak the slices in cold water for a few minutes before using.

Slice the hamburger buns in half. Lightly toast the cut sides in a dry pan until golden brown. Warming the buns enhances their flavor and improves their texture.

Fry the eggs to your preference, either sunny-side up or scrambled. Lightly grill the sliced ham in a pan until it’s slightly browned and more flavorful. A little oil in the pan works well.

In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, and finely chopped pickles. Mix well to create a special sauce with a balanced sweet, tangy, and savory flavor.
