This mix typically includes various lettuces like romaine, radicchio, and other vibrant greens, offering a delightful texture and color. Finely shred one leaf of cabbage to add a refreshing crunch. For an even crisper texture, you can soak the shredded cabbage in cold water for a few minutes before draining.

We’ll be adding hard-boiled eggs to the salad. Prepare 2-3 eggs and place them in a saucepan. Add enough water to cover the eggs, along with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of vinegar. This helps prevent cracking and makes peeling easier. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low and simmer for about 15 minutes for hard-boiled eggs. Once cooked, transfer the eggs to cold water to cool, then carefully peel and slice them. (You can prepare these while other ingredients are being readied to save time.)
