  • 2 slices Bacon
  • 7 cloves Garlic
  • 50ml Water
  • 15ml Olive Oil

Cooking Instructions

Prepare the Tofu Noodles:
– If using dried tofu noodles: Cut them into noodle-like strands. Blanch them in boiling water for about 4 minutes until they soften.
– If using pre-packaged wet tofu noodles: Open the package, drain the noodles in a colander, and pat them dry. This requires minimal preparation.

Slice the Garlic and Bacon:
– Garlic: Thinly slice the garlic cloves into slivers. This will infuse the oil beautifully.
– Bacon: Cut into bite-sized rectangular pieces, about 1.5 to 2 cm wide.

– Heat 1 Tbsp (15ml) of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Allow it to warm up.
– Add the sliced garlic and bacon to the pan. Season lightly with salt and sauté until the garlic turns a nice golden brown and the bacon is crisp and fragrant. This step builds the foundational flavor of the dish.

– Add the 100g of prepared tofu noodles and 50ml of water to the pan with the sautéed garlic and bacon.
