Toasted Sesame Noodle Stir-Fry
Easy and Delicious Toasted Sesame Noodle Stir-Fry That Stays Chewy!
While enjoying my regular spicy sesame ramen, I suddenly wondered what it would taste like if I reduced the water and made it a stir-fry. Reducing the water brought out a surprisingly new and delicious flavor! It’s perfect because the noodles stay chewy and don’t get soggy. (The photos are a bit shaky, but this intro was downloaded from the internet and has nothing to do with the final dish…^^;;)
Ingredients- Sesame Ramen (per serving, use as many packs as needed)
Seasoning- Water 500ml
- Water 500ml
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Start by boiling 500ml of water in a pot over high heat. Once the water reaches a rolling boil, you’ll be ready to begin the cooking process.
Step 2
When the water is boiling vigorously,
Step 3
add the ramen noodles to the pot.
Step 4
I’m making a 3-serving batch, so there are a lot of noodles. For your portion, please cook the number of noodle packs equivalent to how many people you are serving.
Step 5
Once the noodles are cooked, carefully reserve about 2/3 of the noodle water and discard the rest. Then, add the dehydrated egg block that comes with the ramen and let it cook.
Step 6
Cook for about 1 minute after adding the egg block, then add only half of the seasoning packet and mix well. (Since I made a 3-serving batch, I added more seasoning than you would for one serving. Adjust the seasoning amount accordingly.)
Step 7
Transfer the stir-fried noodles to a bowl and enjoy your delicious meal! (My photo is a bit shaky, sorry! ^^;;)
