The Queen’s Elixir: Revitalizing Bloody Mary Juice
Crafting a Refreshing and Healthy Bloody Mary at Home
Introducing the Bloody Mary juice, so named for its vibrant ‘Queen’s Blood’ red hue derived from luscious tomatoes and bell peppers. This is not just a drink; it’s a wholesome wellness juice, celebrated for its harmonious blend of flavors that are neither overwhelmingly flashy nor harsh on the palate. With its low calorie count and high satiety, it’s an excellent choice for a breakfast replacement, and a fantastic boost for your diet and overall health. A truly superb and beneficial concoction!
Ingredients- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 1/2 orange
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1 celery stalk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the tomatoes by making a small cross-shaped incision at the bottom of each. Blanch them in boiling water for about 30 seconds, then immediately transfer to an ice bath. This makes peeling effortless. Once peeled, remove the cores and roughly chop the tomatoes.
Step 2
Trim any tough outer fibers from the celery stalk and chop it finely. Prepare the other ingredients (blanched tomatoes, orange, red bell pepper) by chopping them into manageable pieces. Place all the chopped ingredients into a blender. Add the salt and fresh lemon juice. Blend until the mixture is perfectly smooth and has a uniform consistency. Ensure no chunks remain for the best texture.
Step 3
Pour the freshly blended Bloody Mary juice into a chilled glass. For a beautiful and aromatic finish, garnish with a few fresh celery leaves. This elevates the presentation and adds a delightful botanical note to your healthy and refreshing juice.
