Tender Enoki Mushrooms and Savory Ham Stir-Fry
Super Simple Side Dish: Stir-Fried Enoki Mushrooms and Ham
Whip up a simple side dish in a flash with ingredients you already have! This quick stir-fry is perfect for busy days and adds a delicious touch to any meal.
Main Ingredients
- 100g Ham
- 1 Enoki Mushroom
Seasoning
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Black Pepper

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, slice the ham into bite-sized pieces, about 1cm thick. Trim the base of the enoki mushroom and then separate the strands. If you like, finely chop some green onions or scallions to add a fresh aroma.
Step 2
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium-high heat. Add the sliced ham and stir-fry until it’s lightly browned and releases some of its fat. You don’t need to add much oil as the ham will render its own.
Step 3
Once the ham is cooked to your liking, add the prepared enoki mushrooms. Sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper and a very small pinch of salt, considering the saltiness of the ham. Stir-fry quickly over high heat until the mushrooms are just wilted and tender, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 4
Finally, toss in the chopped green onions (if using) and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant. This delicious stir-fry is now ready to be served!
