Ingredients- 1 container (85g) Plain Yogurt
- 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbsp Oligosaccharide or Honey
- 1 pinch Salt
- A little Black Pepper
- A little Dried Parsley Flakes
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by preparing your salad ingredients. Feel free to choose your favorite seasonal fruits and crisp vegetables. For a more substantial salad, you can also add hard-boiled eggs or mashed potatoes.
Step 2
Pour 1 container (85g) of plain yogurt into a bowl. The smooth, creamy texture of the yogurt will form the base of your dressing.
Step 3
Add 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Mayonnaise will contribute richness and a velvety consistency to the dressing.
Step 4
Squeeze in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. The citrusy zest from the lemon juice will enhance the yogurt’s flavor and add a refreshing tang.
Step 5
Add 1 tablespoon of oligosaccharide or honey for a touch of sweetness. You can adjust the amount of sweetener to your preference.
Step 6
For a balanced flavor profile, add a pinch of salt. Salt helps to bring out and harmonize the other flavors in the dressing.
Step 7
Season with a small amount of black pepper. A few twists of the pepper grinder will add a subtle hint of spice.
Step 8
Using a whisk or spoon, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until smooth and well combined. Your delightful yogurt dressing is now ready! Taste and adjust the sweetness or tanginess if needed.
Step 9
Next, chop your fruits and vegetables into bite-sized pieces. You can cut them into uniform sizes for consistent texture or dice them into cubes for a more decorative presentation.
Step 10
If you’re adding onions to your salad, thinly slice them and soak them in cold water for a few minutes. This will mellow out their sharp flavor, making them more palatable.
Step 11
For a heartier salad, consider adding hard-boiled eggs or large chunks of cooked potatoes. These ingredients will make your salad more filling and satisfying.
Step 12
Assemble your salad bowl by arranging the chopped vegetables and fruits attractively. Top with the hard-boiled eggs or potatoes. Finally, generously drizzle your homemade yogurt dressing over everything. Your delicious and visually appealing salad is complete! Enjoy your meal!
