Sweet & Tangy Grape Tangsuyuk Sauce Recipe
Homemade Tangsuyuk Sauce Made with Fresh Grapes★
Do you have an abundance of grapes at home? I decided to make good use of them by creating this Tangsuyuk sauce. Once made, I found it to be deliciously sweet and sour with a wonderful fragrant aroma! Would you like to make it together?
Main Ingredients- 100ml Grape Juice (strained)
- 100ml Sugar
Sauce Seasoning- 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 6 Tbsp Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp Water
- 4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 6 Tbsp Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp Water
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the fresh grapes. Place them in a blender and blend until smooth to extract the grape juice.
Step 2
Pour the blended grape mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to separate the clear juice from the skins and seeds. To speed up the process, stir the grape pulp in the sieve with a ladle to help the juice drain faster.
Step 3
In a saucepan, combine the strained grape juice with an equal amount of sugar. Add the soy sauce and vinegar. Whisk everything together until well combined. (For a touch of spiciness, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes here.)
Step 4
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Once it starts to bubble, reduce the heat slightly.
Step 5
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water until smooth, creating a slurry. Gradually add about 2-3 tablespoons of this cornstarch slurry to the simmering sauce, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency. Continue to cook over low heat until it reaches a nice, glossy texture.
Step 6
Once the sauce has reached the perfect thickness, remove it from the heat. Your delicious and visually appealing Tangsuyuk sauce is now ready!
Step 7
Serve this delightful sauce with freshly fried Tangsuyuk or any other dish you enjoy. Enjoy your meal! ^^
