Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, let’s prepare a variety of simple yet diverse dishes to enhance your Christmas and home party preparations. From hearty main courses to easy side dishes, referencing various recipes can help you create a more enjoyable dining experience. (Examples: Millefeuille Steamed Dish, Microwave Brownie, Salad Pasta, Skewered Rice Cakes and Sausages, Steamed Clams)

Step 2

Thoroughly wash the sweet potatoes and cut them in half. Place them in a steamer and steam until they are about 80% cooked – just until a chopstick can be inserted with slight resistance. (Tip: If you overcook the sweet potatoes, they tend to break apart when you scoop out the flesh. Steaming them until slightly firm to the touch with a chopstick is ideal.)

Step 3

Carefully scoop out the flesh of the steamed sweet potatoes, leaving about a 0.5cm border around the edge. The key is to maintain the shape of the sweet potato while scooping. Set the scooped-out flesh aside.

Step 4

Finely dice the olives, onion, and processed ham that will be used as pizza toppings. Dicing them small will ensure they mix well with the sweet potato filling and are easy to eat.

Step 5

In a bowl, combine the scooped-out sweet potato flesh, the diced ingredients (olives, onion, ham), canned corn, and 3 tablespoons of ketchup (or tomato sauce). Mix everything well. Add two pinches of salt to season. (Tip: Taste and adjust seasoning with more ketchup or salt if needed. A small amount of sugar can also be added for a sweeter flavor profile.)

Step 6

Fill the hollowed-out sweet potato shells evenly with the prepared mixture. Ensure it’s packed well to create a neat pizza shape.

Step 7

Generously top the filled sweet potatoes with mozzarella cheese. (Tip: For a more decorative look, you can cut processed cheese slices into fun shapes using cookie cutters and place them on top of the mozzarella cheese. This step is optional.)

Step 8

Finally, steam the sweet potato pizzas in the steamer just until the cheese is melted. Your delicious sweet potato pizza is complete! Enjoy it warm, with the cheese stretching beautifully.
