  • 1/2 mashed cooked sweet potato
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup (approx. 60ml) milk
  • 2 slices of processed cheese
  • Generous amount of shredded cheese (mozzarella)
  • Butter or cooking oil, as needed

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Thaw frozen bread slices by leaving them at room temperature for a while or microwaving them for about 1-2 minutes. This ensures they absorb the egg mixture well.

Step 2

Using a bread knife, cut the thawed bread into desired pieces (e.g., diagonally in half). You can also leave them as rectangles.

Step 3

Cut the processed cheese slices in half diagonally to fit the bread. Prepare a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese as well.

Step 4

In a bowl, crack 3 eggs. Add 1/4 cup of milk and a pinch of parsley flakes (optional). Whisk everything together to create the egg mixture. If you don’t have parsley flakes, omitting them won’t significantly affect the taste.

Step 5

Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are thoroughly coated. Let them soak for a moment to absorb the liquid well.

Heat a pan over medium-low heat with a good amount of butter or cooking oil. Place one egg-coated bread slice in the pan. Cook until golden brown on one side. Be careful not to use heat that’s too high, as the outside might burn before the inside is cooked.
