Sweet and Tangy Homemade Mulberry Syrup Juice Recipe
Easy Mulberry Syrup Juice You Can Make at Home
Hello everyone! Today, we’ll be making a super simple mulberry syrup juice using mulberries, known as a nutritious summer ingredient. This recipe is quick, easy, and packed with flavor and health benefits, perfect for beating the heat!
Ingredients- 2 Tbsp Homemade Mulberry Syrup
- 1.5 cups (approx. 300ml) Cold Water
- 2 Large Ice Cubes (or 4 Small Ice Cubes)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let me briefly explain how to make the mulberry syrup. Combine ripe mulberries and sugar in a 1:1 ratio and let it ferment in a cool place for 2 to 4 weeks. Once fermented, strain out the mulberry solids to get the syrup. The syrup in the photo is well-fermented and has a deep purple color.
Step 2
It’s convenient to transfer the fermented mulberry syrup to a smaller, attractive jar for refrigeration. Now, measure out 2 tablespoons of mulberry syrup for one serving. The rich, deep color of the syrup already promises a delicious drink!
Step 3
Pour about 2/3 cup of cold water into the glass with the mulberry syrup. Using chilled water directly from the refrigerator means you won’t need too much ice. You can adjust the amount of water to your preference.
Step 4
Finally, add 2 large ice cubes. If you’re using smaller ice cubes, use about 4. Give it a gentle stir, and your delicious mulberry syrup juice is ready! The sweet and tangy flavor, combined with the refreshing chill, is perfect for quenching your thirst on a hot summer day.
