  • Servings : 1 serving
  • Cooking Time : Within 15 minutes

Main Ingredients

  • 1 packet of instant noodles (Jin Ramen recommended)
  • 1 packet of store-bought cold noodle broth
  • 1 Cheongyang pepper (optional, if you want to add spiciness)

Seasoning & Additional Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

In a deep bowl or wide container, add the ramen soup base, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Finely chop and add 1 Cheongyang pepper for a spicy kick that enhances the flavor. (Omit if you don’t like spicy food.)

Step 1

Step 2

Add the dried vegetable flakes (garnish packet) that came with the ramen. Bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions until perfectly done. It’s best to cook them for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to 3 minutes to prevent them from becoming too mushy.

Step 2

Step 3

Immediately drain the cooked noodles and rinse them thoroughly under cold running water to make the noodles firm and springy. Rinsing with cold water prevents the noodles from becoming sticky and ensures a cooler, more refreshing experience.

Step 3

Step 4

Place the drained noodles into the prepared bowl. Pour in 1 packet of the store-bought cold noodle broth. Mix everything well for a cool broth, and voilà – you have a super simple Naeng-ramyeon ready in no time! Isn’t it incredibly easy?
