Ingredients
  • 500g Store-bought beef bone broth (add 1-2 cups of water)
  • 1 bag frozen dumplings
  • 2 large eggs
  • A little green onion (for garnish)

Seasoning
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Pour the 500g of store-bought beef bone broth into a pot, add 1-2 cups of water, and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. While the broth is boiling, crack 2 eggs into a bowl and whisk them well. Finely chop a little green onion and add it to the beaten eggs. (Tip: Chopping the green onion coarsely adds a refreshing flavor to the broth and looks appealing when mixed with the egg.)

Step 2

Prepare the frozen dumplings for the soup. You can choose your favorite type, such as thin-skinned dumplings or spicy ones, according to your preference. It’s best to cook the dumplings directly from frozen to prevent them from breaking apart.

Step 3

Once the broth is boiling vigorously, carefully add the prepared frozen dumplings. Next, add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and soy sauce or salt to season the soup. It’s advisable to start with a light seasoning and adjust the taste as you go.

Step 4

When the dumplings are cooked and floating to the surface, gently and evenly pour the prepared green onion and egg mixture around the edges of the pot. It’s important to spread the egg mixture thinly so it doesn’t clump.

Step 5

After pouring the egg mixture, do not stir immediately. Wait until the egg is cooked and forms beautiful ribbons. Then, sprinkle a pinch of black pepper for added aroma. Finally, gently stir once or twice with a ladle to prevent the egg ribbons from breaking into small pieces.

Step 6

After adding the egg mixture, reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for about 3 more minutes until all the ingredients are well combined, and your delicious dumpling soup is ready. Enjoy this hearty meal with its warm broth!
