- Ginger Confiture 1/3 Tbsp (or Minced Ginger)
- Minced Garlic 1 Tbsp

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Thaw the frozen LA Galbi at room temperature until pliable. If there’s a lot of blood, gently pat it dry with paper towels to remove any gamey taste.
Step 2
In a bowl, pour in 80ml of Bellflower Root & Pear Juice (or a pear beverage).
Step 3
Add 80ml of Savory Soy Sauce (or regular soy sauce).
Step 4
Pour in 40ml of cooking wine to eliminate any odors and add a layer of umami.
Step 5
Add 1/3 Tbsp of Ginger Confiture. (If using minced ginger, use the same amount.)
Step 6
Add a generous tablespoon of minced garlic to enhance the flavor.
Step 7
Stir in 1 Tbsp of honey for sweetness. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add an extra tablespoon of sugar.
Step 8
Add 1/2 Tbsp of black pepper to balance the flavors.
Step 9
Whisk all the marinade ingredients together until well combined. Give it a good shake (‘shake shake’)!
Step 10
Coat the LA Galbi evenly on both sides with the prepared marinade. Ensure the meat is thoroughly covered.
Step 11
Arrange the marinated ribs in a container, leaning them slightly with the meaty side facing down. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld and tenderize the meat. (Tip: For even better flavor absorption, you can flip them once during marination and reapply some marinade.)
Step 12
While the ribs are marinating, lightly season some of the plain ribs with salt and pepper and grill them first. This allows you to fully appreciate the natural beef flavor.
Step 13
Take a bite of the perfectly grilled LA Galbi. You’ll experience the rich, savory juices and the tender texture – LA Galbi is always a winner!
Step 14
Wrap a piece of grilled rib in fresh perilla leaves or pickled radish wraps, add some pickled onions and Ssamjang (Korean dipping sauce), and enjoy the fantastic sweet, sour, and salty combination. It’s absolutely delicious!
Step 15
Dip the ribs lightly in whole grain mustard sauce for a refreshing and zesty finish. It provides an exotic taste, almost like eating a steak.
Step 16
Pairing the ribs with fragrant Angelica Jangajji (pickled Angelica) helps cut through the richness of the meat, creating a balanced and pleasant experience. It adds a unique twist!
Step 17
Now, grill the marinated LA Galbi until beautifully browned. Be sure to cook over medium-low heat to prevent the marinade from burning.
Step 18
Place a piece of well-grilled marinated LA Galbi on a spoonful of rice and take a big bite! The tender meat and the sweet and savory sauce will soak into every grain of rice, making it incredibly satisfying. We highly recommend you try this!
