Main Ingredients
- 1 pack Convenience store Tteokbokki meal kit (approx. 200-300g)
- 1 pack Jjajang Buldak Stir-fried Noodles
- 1 bag Mozzarella Cheese (approx. 100g)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, cook the tteokbokki rice cakes according to the instructions on the convenience store meal kit. Usually, boiling them in water for about 2-3 minutes will make them soft and chewy. It’s important to stir them well so they don’t stick together.
Step 2
While the tteokbokki is cooking, prepare the Jjajang Buldak Stir-fried Noodles. Follow the package instructions: boil water, add the noodles and powder seasoning, cook, then drain the water. Be careful not to overcook the noodles.
Step 3
To the cooked tteokbokki rice cakes, add the liquid seasoning (jjajang sauce) from the Jjajang Buldak Stir-fried Noodles and mix thoroughly. Stir-fry over medium-low heat for about 1 minute to allow the spicy and sweet jjajang sauce to coat the rice cakes evenly, enhancing the flavor.
Step 4
Now, add the pre-cooked Jjajang Buldak Stir-fried Noodles to the tteokbokki pot and mix them together with the rice cakes and sauce. Gently stir to prevent the noodles from clumping with the tteokbokki sauce.
Step 5
Finally, generously top the tteokbokki with mozzarella cheese. Cover the pot and heat for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, just until the cheese is melted and gooey. Serve immediately while hot for the ultimate experience of stretchy cheese and delicious flavors!
