Rice & Toppings
- 1 bowl (approx. 300g) warm cooked rice
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1 egg
Flavorful Soy-Wasabi Sauce
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp wasabi paste (adjust to taste)
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp wasabi paste (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Carefully slice the avocado in half. Remove the pit and then cut the flesh into attractive, bite-sized pieces. You can scoop out the flesh with a spoon or dice it into cubes.
Step 2
Lightly grease a pan and fry the egg. A sunny-side-up or over-easy egg with a runny yolk adds a wonderful richness to the rice and sauce, so cook it to your preference.
Step 3
While the egg is cooking, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1/2 tablespoon of wasabi paste in a small bowl. Mix well. You can adjust the amount of wasabi to suit your preference for spiciness.
Step 4
Arrange the beautifully sliced avocado and the perfectly cooked fried egg on top of the warm rice. Finally, drizzle the prepared soy-wasabi sauce evenly over everything. Your delightful Avocado Egg Rice Bowl is ready to be enjoyed! Mix everything together and savor the flavors.
