Super Easy and Delicious Pollock Roe Pancake (Krami-jeon)
Quick and Easy Side Dish: Pollock Roe Pancake Recipe
With just eggs and imitation crab sticks, you can whip up a fantastic side dish in no time! This is a simple yet flavorful recipe that’s perfect for busy days.
Ingredients- 1 pack imitation crab sticks (krami)
- 3 eggs
- Cooking oil, as needed
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare 1 pack of imitation crab sticks. You can leave them whole or shred them into bite-sized pieces. Shred them to your preferred thickness.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, crack 3 eggs and whisk them well. Once the eggs are slightly beaten, add the prepared imitation crab sticks. Use your hands to shred the crab sticks further while mixing them into the egg batter. Since the imitation crab sticks are already seasoned, it’s best not to add any extra salt. If you prefer a milder flavor, shred the crab sticks more finely.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat and add a generous amount of cooking oil. Using a ladle or spoon, scoop portions of the crab mixture and carefully place them onto the hot pan. Shape them into small, round pancakes for a more appealing presentation.
Step 4
Cook each side over medium-low heat until golden brown and set. Once one side is cooked, gently flip the pancake with a spatula to cook the other side evenly. Be mindful of the heat to prevent the pancakes from burning.
Step 5
Once both sides are beautifully golden brown, your delicious imitation crab stick pancakes are ready! Serve them warm for a wonderfully moist and tender texture. This simple side dish is incredibly easy to make and incredibly satisfying. It’s a perfect addition to any meal, great for kids, or even as a snack!
