Ingredients- Salted Sea Mustard Stems 200g
- Minced Garlic 1 Tbsp
- Cooking Oil 2 Tbsp
- Ground Pepper 1 Tsp
- Oligosaccharide 1 Tbsp
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, commercial salted sea mustard stems are often preserved with a significant amount of salt. It’s crucial to remove this excess salt. Gently shake off any loose salt from the sea mustard stems and rinse them once or twice under cold water. Then, soak them in fresh water for about an hour to thoroughly leach out the salt. After soaking, drain them well and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Step 2
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the prepared sea mustard stems and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic. (Note: Green onions are typically not added to this dish).
Step 3
Add 1 teaspoon of ground pepper and stir-fry everything together until well combined. Continue to sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the sea mustard stems are tender and fragrant. This simple dish is a fantastic way to enjoy both great taste and nutrition!
Step 4
Transfer the delicious stir-fried sea mustard stems to a serving dish, and your wonderful side dish is ready to be enjoyed.
