Ingredients

  • 200g Korean radish (Mu)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp sugar

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, thoroughly wash the 200g of Korean radish. Peel off the skin thinly. Then, cut the radish into fine julienne strips, about 0.5cm thick. Ensure the strips are of uniform thickness so they cook evenly.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add all the julienned radish to the pan. Stir-fry continuously, making sure the radish doesn’t burn, until it becomes slightly translucent as moisture is released.

Once the radish has softened to your desired consistency, add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and 1/2 tablespoon of sugar. Stir well and continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the seasoning is evenly distributed. Be careful not to overcook, as the radish can become mushy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding a little more soy sauce for saltiness or sugar for sweetness. Transfer the finished stir-fried radish to a serving dish and enjoy!
