Main Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced pork belly 1/2 pack (approx. 250g)
  • Minced garlic 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Onion (medium size)
  • 1/2 Bell pepper (use a variety of colors for visual appeal)
  • 1/4 head Cabbage (medium size)
  • 1 handful Bean sprouts (adjust to your preference)
  • 10 Perilla leaves
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Boiling the water helps to remove excess grease from the pork belly and eliminate any gamey odors.

Once the water is boiling, add half a pack (about 250g) of the thinly sliced pork belly and cook briefly. Be careful not to overcook, as it can make the meat tough.

Drain the parboiled pork belly thoroughly using a colander. Any remaining water can make the stir-fry soggy.

Heat a wide frying pan over medium heat, then add a little cooking oil to coat the surface. This prevents the ingredients from sticking.
