Main Ingredients- 3 Sausages
- 1 handful of Bean Sprouts (approx. 100g)
- 1 pack of instant Udon noodles (including noodles and soup base)
- 1 Tbsp minced Garlic
- 5 Tbsp Water (approx. 75ml)
- A little Cooking Oil (approx. 1-2 Tbsp)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, slice the sausages diagonally on both sides. This will make them look appealing as they cook and help them absorb the flavors better.
Step 2
Heat a pan over medium heat and add a generous amount of cooking oil. Once the oil is warm, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then, add the sliced sausages and cook until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
Step 3
Once the sausages are nicely browned, add the washed bean sprouts, the udon soup base that came with the noodles, and the 5 tablespoons of water. Immediately cover the pan and let it steam for about 3 minutes. This will cook the bean sprouts while keeping them wonderfully crisp.
Step 4
Finally, add the udon noodles to the pan. Use chopsticks or tongs to gently loosen the noodles and stir-fry them with the sauce until well combined. Once the noodles are separated and coated in the delicious sauce, your ‘Ssokong Noodles’ are ready! Serve immediately while hot.
