Main Ingredients- 2 clumps fresh seaweed (Palae)
- 5 slices radish (approx. 1/4 of a small radish)
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp anchovy sauce (fish sauce)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 5 Tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/3 stalk green onion (white part preferred)
- 1 Tbsp anchovy sauce (fish sauce)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 5 Tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/3 stalk green onion (white part preferred)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the fresh seaweed clumps thoroughly under running water to remove any grit or debris. Gently squeeze out as much water as possible with your hands. Cut the seaweed into bite-sized pieces, about 5cm long.
Step 2
Peel the radish and thinly julienne it. Cutting the radish thinly will help it absorb the flavors of the dressing and give it a pleasant texture.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the prepared seaweed and julienned radish. Add the sugar, anchovy sauce, salt, and vinegar. Gently mix with your hands, massaging the ingredients to ensure the seasoning evenly coats the seaweed and radish. Taste and adjust the sugar or vinegar if needed, according to your preference.
Step 4
Finally, add the finely chopped green onion and minced garlic. Toss everything together once more to combine. Your delicious and refreshing seaweed salad is now ready to be enjoyed!
