Here’s a special ramen I whipped up quickly for a late lunch! It’s a delightful ramen infused with the zesty flavors of potatoes and fragrant garlic, offering a wonderfully tangy and spicy profile. Perfect for when you need a quick, yet uniquely delicious meal.

  • 1 pack Ramen noodles
  • 5 medium Potatoes
  • 3 cloves Garlic

Seasoning & Others

  • 1 packet Ramen soup base
  • 600ml Water
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, thoroughly wash and peel the 5 potatoes, then slice them thinly. Mince or thinly slice the 3 garlic cloves. Place the sliced potatoes and garlic in a pot, add 600ml of water, and bring to a boil over high heat for about 7 minutes. Cook until the potatoes and garlic are slightly tender. This step allows the natural sweetness of the potatoes and the aroma of garlic to infuse the broth, creating a richer flavor base.

Once the potatoes and garlic are partially cooked, add the ramen noodles and the soup base packet to the pot. Return to high heat and continue to boil for another 3 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked through and the broth is bubbling. Make sure to time it well so the noodles are perfectly chewy.

While the ramen is boiling, sprinkle a pinch of black pepper over the noodles for added aroma and flavor. Then, drizzle about 1/4 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar over the ramen.
