Main Ingredients- 20-30 Vienna sausages
- 1 onion
- 1/2 green bell pepper
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1/2 green onion (scallion)
Secret Spicy & Sweet Sauce- 4 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1.5 Tbsp oligo syrup (or corn syrup)

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, make a few shallow cuts on the surface of the Vienna sausages. Cross-shaped or diagonal cuts (3-4 per sausage) will prevent them from bursting while cooking and help the sauce penetrate better, making them more flavorful.
Step 2
Prepare the vegetables: roughly chop or slice the onion. Remove the seeds from the green and red bell peppers and slice them into similar sizes. Slice the green onion diagonally. Cutting the vegetables to a similar size ensures they cook evenly.
Step 3
Heat a pan with a little oil over medium-low heat. Add the prepared sausages and stir-fry them as if you’re deep-frying them. Cook until they are golden brown and slightly plump. This gives them a better texture. Be careful not to use high heat, which can burn the outside before the inside is cooked.
Step 4
Once the sausages are partially cooked, add all the prepared vegetables (onion, bell peppers, green onion) to the pan. Increase the heat to high and stir-fry quickly for about 1-2 minutes. The key is to keep the vegetables crisp-tender, so don’t overcook them.
Step 5
When the vegetables have slightly softened and are combined with the sausages, add the pre-mixed sauce (4 Tbsp ketchup, 1 Tbsp gochujang, 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, 1.5 Tbsp oligo syrup). Reduce the heat to medium-low to prevent the sauce from burning. Stir continuously for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the sauce coats all the ingredients evenly.
