Spicy & Sweet Kimchi Pork Stir-fry: Ready in 10 Minutes!

Today, I’ve made a Kimchi Pork Stir-fry that anyone can easily follow. You don’t need any vegetables at all. Just prepare pork and kimchi!

Recipe Info

  • Category : Main dish
  • Ingredient Category : Pork
  • Occasion : Everyday
  • Cooking : Stir-fry
  • Servings : 2 servings
  • Difficulty : Beginner

Ingredients

  • Pork (belly or neck) 400g (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • Well-fermented Kimchi 400g (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • Sugar 1 Tbsp
  • Gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) 1 Tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Minced garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame oil 1 Tbsp

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Place the pork (400g), cut into bite-sized pieces, and the kimchi (400g), also cut into bite-sized pieces, into a wide pan.

Step 1

Step 2

Now, add all the seasoning ingredients: 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 Tbsp gochugaru, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp oyster sauce, and 1 Tbsp minced garlic. Stir-fry over medium heat for 10 minutes. Cooking over medium heat prevents burning and allows the flavors to meld evenly into the ingredients.

Step 2

Step 3

As you stir-fry, the kimchi seasoning can stick to the pan. To prevent this, add a little bit of water or kimchi juice (about 1-2 Tbsp at a time) as needed while cooking. This helps the sauce stay smooth and well-distributed.

Step 3

Step 4

Finally, just before you finish cooking, drizzle in 1 Tbsp of sesame oil. The nutty aroma of the sesame oil will enhance the overall flavor beautifully. Stir everything together to complete your delicious Kimchi Pork Stir-fry!

Step 4

Step 5

It’s even more delicious when enjoyed with a warm bowl of rice! As a tip, you can make it even better by lightly heating some tofu in the microwave or blanching it in boiling water and serving it alongside the stir-fry. The soft texture of the tofu complements the spicy pork perfectly, giving you a taste similar to enjoying both Dubu Kimchi and Kimchi Pork Stir-fry at once!
