- 1 pack of milk (enough to cover the chicken breasts)
Spicy-Sweet Braising Sauce- 5 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp mirin (or cooking wine)
- 3 Tbsp corn syrup (adjust to taste)
- 2 Tbsp Buldak sauce (for spice level adjustment)
- 2.5 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes, adds depth)
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 15 Tbsp water (approx. 2/3 of a large bowl)
- 5 Tbsp soy sauce

Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, we’ll remove any gamey smell from the chicken breast and make it tender. Submerge the chicken breasts completely in enough milk and let them soak for about 10 to 15 minutes. This process will make the chicken breast much softer and less dry.

After soaking in milk, rinse the chicken breasts lightly under running water to remove the milk. This step effectively helps to get rid of any characteristic chicken odor.

In a pot, add plenty of water and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, add the prepared chicken breasts and simmer for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to overcook, as it can make the chicken tough.

Remove the boiled chicken breasts from the pot, let them cool slightly, and then slice them thinly into bite-sized pieces. Slicing them this way ensures the sauce penetrates evenly, making them even more delicious.
