Spicy Soft Tofu Ramen
How to Make Delicious and Spicy Soft Tofu Ramen
The ultimate marriage of soft tofu and ramen! This dish is incredibly delicious.
Ingredients
- 800ml water
- 2 packets Yeul Ramen (spicy ramen)
- 1 packet soft tofu
- 1 egg
- 1/2 stalk green onion (chopped)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Before cooking, cut the soft tofu into bite-sized pieces (usually 2-3 divisions) and drain any excess water. This helps prevent the broth from becoming cloudy and results in a cleaner taste. While optional, this step enhances the overall flavor.
Step 2
Pour exactly 800ml of water into a pot and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat. While the water heats up, you can prepare the other ingredients to save time.
Step 3
Once the water is boiling, add the 2 packets of Yeul Ramen and cook for about 2-3 minutes until the noodles are al dente (slightly firm). Before the noodles become too soft, gently add the prepared soft tofu. Break it up gently to avoid mashing it.
Step 4
Finally, garnish with the chopped green onions. Turn off the heat and crack an egg directly into the pot. Let it cook without stirring until the egg white is set and the yolk is still runny (a perfect soft-boiled state). Your amazing soft tofu ramen is now complete! Serve immediately while piping hot.
