- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp Buldak sauce (use the liquid sauce packet from Buldak Bokkeum Myun)
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Before you begin cooking, prepare all your ingredients according to the recipe. Thinly slice the onion and separate the enoki mushrooms by removing their base.
Step 2
Here’s the star ingredient for today’s dish: duck breast. Using fresh duck breast will result in a wonderfully tender texture. If you opt for smoked duck breast, it will add an extra layer of delicious flavor, making your dish even more special.
Step 3
Pour hot water into the Buldak Bokkeum Myun cup up to the indicated line. Cover and let the noodles cook for about 3-4 minutes (refer to the product instructions for exact timing).
Step 4
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the duck breast and cook until it’s about 70% done, which takes roughly 3-4 minutes. Overcooking will make it tough. (If using smoked duck breast, skip this step and proceed to the next one.)
Step 5
Remove the cooked duck breast from the water and let it cool slightly. Once cooled a bit, cut the duck breast into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm, similar in size to smoked duck. This makes it easier to enjoy with the noodles.
Step 6
When the noodles are nearly cooked, add the enclosed Buldak sauce (liquid packet) to the cup noodles and mix it well with the noodles. Ensure the sauce coats the noodles evenly.
Step 7
Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they become translucent. Stir-frying the onions well will bring out their natural sweetness.
Step 8
Once the onions are tender, add the prepared duck breast, mayonnaise, and Buldak sauce (2 Tbsp) to the pan. Turn the heat to high and stir-fry quickly until all ingredients are well combined. The mayonnaise will help to mellow the spiciness of the sauce beautifully.
Step 9
After stir-frying for about 5 minutes, add the enoki mushrooms. Continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, just until the mushrooms are slightly wilted. Be careful not to overcook the mushrooms, as they can release excess water.
Step 10
When the duck breast is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened nicely, reduce the heat to low. Adjust the consistency of the sauce so it’s not too dry.
Step 11
Arrange the cooked stir-fried mixture attractively over the noodles in a bowl. If your Buldak Bokkeum Myun came with an extra garnish packet, sprinkle it on top for an even more appealing presentation. Now, savor your delicious Spicy & Savory Duck Stir-fried Noodles!
