Seasoning Ingredients- 1.3 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic
- 0.5 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 0.5 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 0.5 Tbsp soup soy sauce (guk-ganjang)
- 0.5 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1.3 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 0.5 Tbsp minced garlic
- 0.5 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 0.5 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 0.5 Tbsp soup soy sauce (guk-ganjang)
- 0.5 Tbsp sesame oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash the fresh chives under running water to remove any dirt or debris. Gently pat them dry and then cut them into bite-sized pieces, about 3-4 cm long.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine all the seasoning ingredients except for the sesame oil: gochugaru, minced garlic, fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, toasted sesame seeds, and soup soy sauce.
Step 3
Mix the seasoning ingredients well with a spatula or spoon, ensuring that the sugar dissolves completely. It’s important to mix thoroughly to create a well-incorporated dressing.
Step 4
Add the prepared chives to the bowl with the seasoning. Gently toss the chives to coat them evenly with the dressing. Avoid overmixing or bruising the chives, as this can make them mushy and reduce their crispness. Use a light, folding motion.
Step 5
Finally, drizzle the sesame oil over the chives and give it one last gentle toss. Your delicious stir-fried chives are now ready to serve! Enjoy immediately for the freshest taste and texture.
