Main Ingredients
- 1 packet of ramen noodles
Seasoning Ingredients
- Ramen soup powder (to taste)
- Ketchup (to taste)
- Sugar (to taste)
- Ramen soup powder (to taste)
- Ketchup (to taste)
- Sugar (to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, boil the ramen noodles in water just until slightly cooked. Avoid overcooking, as they will become mushy when stir-fried. Aim for an al dente texture by boiling for about 2 to 2.5 minutes. Rinse the noodles under cold water to stop the cooking and drain well to remove excess water.
Step 2
Heat a frying pan over low heat and add a little cooking oil. Transfer the drained ramen noodles to the pan. Keep the heat low to prevent burning and ensure the seasoning coats the noodles evenly.
Step 3
Now for the flavor! Add the ramen soup powder to your liking, along with ketchup and sugar according to your preference. The amount of ramen soup powder is key, so it’s recommended to start with a small amount and add more after tasting. For an extra kick, you can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
Step 4
Increase the heat to medium-low and quickly stir-fry the noodles using chopsticks or tongs, ensuring all ingredients are well combined and evenly coated with the sauce. Continue stir-frying for about 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and clings to the noodles. Spread the cooked Ramen Bokki out on a plate and let it sit for a moment to allow the flavors to meld. It’s delicious served immediately while warm, or even better when slightly cooled for a chewier texture.
