Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, gently shake the dried shredded squid to separate any clumps and place it in a pan.
Step 2
To ensure the squid doesn’t burn and the seasoning is evenly distributed, it’s important to mix before cooking. Before turning on the heat, add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and a moderate amount of canola oil to the pan. Then, put on disposable gloves and gently mix the shredded squid with your hands. This pre-mixing allows the flavor to penetrate deeply and helps prevent burning during stir-frying, leading to a quicker finish.
Step 3
Now, turn the heat to medium-low and stir-fry the shredded squid, separating the strands, for about 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring continuously to prevent it from burning.
Step 4
Just before turning off the heat, add 1 Tbsp of sesame oil and 2 Tbsp of oligodang. Sprinkle generously with sesame seeds. Give it a quick final stir, and your delicious dried shredded squid stir-fry is ready! You can enjoy it immediately, or let it cool completely before storing for longer shelf life.
