Seasoning Sauce

  • 7 Tbsp store-bought cho-gochujang (spicy sweet chili paste)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp oligodang (or corn syrup)
  • A pinch of toasted sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

First, drain the canned sea snails thoroughly using a sieve. This step is crucial to remove any can liquid and prepare the snails to absorb the sauce beautifully.

Next, slice the drained sea snails into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 2 cm long. Avoid cutting them too small, as this can diminish the enjoyable chewy texture.

Feel free to use any fresh vegetables you have on hand! Tear the lettuce into large pieces. Thinly julienne the carrot and cucumber. Finely chop the green onion to add aromatic flavor. Rinse the bean sprouts clean.
