Spicy and Sweet Glazed Chicken
Stress-Busting Spicy and Sweet Glazed Chicken!!!
On days when you feel worn out from your busy life, boost your energy with this incredibly delicious spicy and sweet glazed chicken! It’s perfect for melting away stress. ^^
Main Ingredients- 500g chicken
- 100g bean sprouts
- 1 piece butter
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the 500g of chicken thoroughly and pat it dry. Place the chicken in a bowl, add herb salt, rosemary, and 2 tablespoons of Cheongju. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes. Cheongju helps tenderize the meat and remove any gamey odors.
Step 2
Here is the marinated chicken. The herb salt and rosemary impart a subtle aroma, and the Cheongju has effectively tenderized the meat.
Step 3
Melt 1 piece of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden brown on all sides. It’s important to cook it until the exterior is nicely crispy.
Step 4
The chicken is turning a beautiful golden brown, isn’t it? It looks delicious already! haha
Step 5
Now, let’s make the delicious glazing sauce! In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of Gochujang, 2 tablespoons of Ketchup, 1 tablespoon of Soy Sauce, 3 tablespoons of Oligosaccharide, 1 tablespoon of Minced Garlic, 1 tablespoon of Sugar, 1 tablespoon of Sesame Oil, and 1 tablespoon of Oyster Sauce for an extra layer of flavor. Mix everything evenly. Adding oyster sauce enhances the savory depth of the sauce. ^^
Step 6
The luscious and glossy sauce is ready! Adding oligosaccharide gives it a beautiful sheen when it simmers, making the dish even more appealing. Don’t forget to add it! haha
Step 7
Pour all the prepared sauce over the cooked chicken. Stir-fry over medium-low heat, ensuring the sauce coats the chicken evenly. Be careful not to burn the sauce, and cook until it achieves a glossy finish – that’s the key!.
Step 8
The chicken is now beautifully coated in the delicious sauce. Just looking at it makes your mouth water, right? Now, all that’s left is to plate it!
Step 9
Arrange the 100g of fresh bean sprouts attractively on your serving plate. The fresh greens will cut through the richness of the glazed chicken and add a lovely texture.
Step 10
Place the appetizing glazed chicken on top of the fresh greens. Finally, sprinkle a few pine nuts for a nutty crunch and some finely chopped green onions for a fresh garnish. Your irresistible, restaurant-quality glazed chicken is complete!!! Enjoy your meal!
