Spicy and Sweet Chicken Pepper Pancakes
Fiery and Delicious Buldak Sauce Pepper Pancakes Recipe
An easy recipe using Buldak sauce. Enjoy these crispy and flavorful pepper pancakes with a touch of spicy sweetness!
Ingredients- 10 peppers (use Korean chili peppers for heat or bell peppers for milder flavor)
- 50g pancake mix (about 1/2 cup)
- 90ml cold water (about 1/3 cup + 1/4 cup)
- 1 Tbsp Buldak sauce (adjust to taste)
- 3 Tbsp cooking oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the peppers thoroughly and remove the stems. If you prefer less heat, you can slice the peppers in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Chop the peppers into bite-sized pieces, about 1 cm long. If you like it spicy, leave the seeds in; if you’re making them for children or prefer milder flavors, remove the seeds.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, combine the 50g of pancake mix with 90ml of cold water. Whisk until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps. Add 1 tablespoon of Buldak sauce to the batter for a flavorful kick. Finally, add the chopped peppers and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the pancakes tough.
Step 3
Heat 3 tablespoons of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Ladle portions of the batter into the hot pan, spreading them out to form round pancakes. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning. Once both sides are perfectly crisp, your delicious Buldak sauce pepper pancakes are ready to serve!
