Spam Carbonara Fire Noodles

Sometimes, the spiciness of Fire Noodles can be a bit overwhelming, or perhaps the flavor feels a little plain. That’s when the idea of pairing it with Spam struck me! I looked up combinations online and found this one to be easy to follow and incredibly delicious, so I make it often. Ingredients

  • 1 can Spam (approx. 200g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pack Carbonara Fire Noodles
  • 1 portion Pizza cheese (or about 50g mozzarella cheese)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the Spam. Open the can and slice it into bite-sized pieces, about 1cm thick, as you normally would. Lightly grease a frying pan and pan-fry the Spam slices until they are golden brown and slightly crispy. Frying until the outside is crisp and the inside is still juicy makes it even more delicious.

Step 1

Step 2

Prepare the Carbonara Fire Noodles according to the package instructions. Boil the noodles, then add the powder and liquid sauce packets and mix well. It’s important to stir continuously to ensure the creamy and rich carbonara sauce is well combined with the noodles.

Step 2

Step 3

Boil the 2 eggs to your desired doneness – soft-boiled or hard-boiled. Using a soft-boiled egg will result in a richer flavor as the yolk mixes with the sauce. Peel the boiled eggs once they are ready.

Step 3

Step 4

Now it’s time to plate everything beautifully! Place the cooked Carbonara Fire Noodles into a deep bowl. Arrange the pan-fried Spam slices attractively on top. In the center, place the peeled boiled egg, halved if desired. Finally, generously sprinkle with pizza cheese. The heat from the noodles will melt the cheese into a delightful, gooey topping. Enjoy your delicious meal!
