Spam and Vegetable Bread
Soft and Fluffy! Spam and Vegetable Bread Perfect for Kids’ Snacks
Hello everyone! Today, I’ve used the same dough recipe from my previous sausage bread to create these Spam and Vegetable Bread rolls. The method involves simply topping the dough and baking, which makes it much more convenient and easier than the sausage bread. Enjoying one with a cup of coffee right after baking brought a smile to my face – this is the taste I love! It’s moments like these that make my passion for baking irresistible. The fluffy, soft bread brings instant happiness. Another great advantage is that homemade bread doesn’t become hard even when it cools down, making it delicious to eat at room temperature too. These Spam and Vegetable Breads are so appealing that you’ll find yourself craving them. Why not bake some as a special treat for your children’s snacks? Stay healthy and have a wonderful day! ♡

- Ketchup
- Honey mustard
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
In a bread machine or a large bowl, combine the bread flour, milk, dry yeast, salt, sugar, and egg. Process using the dough setting until a smooth dough forms. Add the butter at the end and continue kneading until it’s fully incorporated. (If kneading by hand, mix all ingredients and knead until smooth, then add the butter and knead until elastic.)
Step 2
Finely chop the onion and carrot after washing them thoroughly. Lightly grease a pan and sauté the chopped onion and carrot over low heat until they become translucent and tender. (Chopping them as finely as possible will make them easier for children to eat.)
Step 3
Drain the canned corn kernels and rinse them briefly under hot running water. This helps remove any raw corn taste and enhances the flavor.
Step 4
Once the dough is ready, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and gently punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into desired portions and shape them into balls. Let them rest for 10-15 minutes. (Cover the dough balls with plastic wrap or a damp cloth to prevent them from drying out.)
Step 5
After resting, gently deflate the dough balls again and shape them into your desired bread form. (You can flatten them, roll them into logs, or shape them as you prefer.)
Step 6
Arrange the sautéed vegetables and pieces of Spam on top of the shaped dough. Drizzle with mayonnaise, ketchup, and honey mustard sauce to your liking. Finish by generously sprinkling mozzarella cheese over everything. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. (Adjust baking time and temperature according to your oven’s specifications.)
Step 7
Once baked to a golden perfection, remove the Spam and Vegetable Bread from the oven and place them on a wire rack to cool slightly.
Step 8
Arrange the warm Spam and Vegetable Bread on a plate for serving. Enjoy!
